Breakfast for champions – Spicy chips served with steak, sausage, and soft fried eggs

Directions
- Mix the egg and milk well together in a large bowl
- In another bowl mix the flour, and spices together and set aside
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan, enough to cover the chips. Dip the potatoes first into the milk mixture and then into the flour
- Fry in batches until golden. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel. Continue until all the potatoes are done
- Repeat the frying process once again and re-fry for about 2 minutes then drain on a paper towel
- Serve the spicy chips with grilled steak, eggs of choice, and a grilled tomato if desired
Ingredients
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 125 ml (½ cup) milk
- 120 g (1 cup) cake flour
- 10 ml (2 tsp) ground paprika
- 5 ml (1 tsp) chili flakes
- 10 ml (2 tsp) garlic flakes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 large potatoes, with the skin on, cut into thick chips
