Creamy Mashed Potatoes And Mince

Directions
- For the mince, heat the oil in a frying pan with deep sides and sauté the onion for a few seconds.
- Add the mince and d, with a fork, stir with a fork until all the meat is broken up.
- Add the chilli sauce, curry powder, garam masala, turmeric and ground cumin and stir to combine.
- Mix in the carrot and stock and continue to cook until the carrot is soft.
- Cook the potatoes in plenty of water until soft. Drain and set aside.
- Gently fry the garlic for a few seconds and spoon over the potatoes. Add the amasi, butter and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the mash topped with the mince while still hot. Garnish with parsley.

- 5 ml curry powder
- 2.50 ml garam masala
- 1.50 ml garam masala

- 1 medium carrot, grated
- 125 ml chicken stock
- 2 large potatoes, peeled
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 170 ml amasi
- 30 ml butter
- 2.50 ml salt
- 1.50 ml ground pepper
- Fresh parsley, to serve
