Easy Slap Chips braai dipping sauce

Tip:
Covering the cooked chips with a pieces of paper towel when draining will make them even softer

Directions
- Peel the potatoes and cut into 2 cm wide chips.
- Place the chips in cold water and allow to stand for at least 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile in a small bowl combine all the dipping sauce ingredients and mix well. Set aside.
- Remove the potatoes from the water and drain well.
- Place the chips on a microwaveable plate and microwave the chips on high for 5 minutes.
- Pre-heat the oil to 180°C.
- Fry the chips in batches until they just start to turn golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain well.
- Once all the chips are fried pour over the vinegar and season with salt.
- Serve with dipping sauce
Ingredients

- 5 Potatoes, waxy (BP13, Mondial, Fabula etc.)
- 3 tbsp Vinegar, white
- 1 tsp Salt, fine
- Oil for frying
- <h3>Braai Dipping Sauce</h3>
- ½ cup Mayonnaise, creamy
- ¼ cup Tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp Tabasco
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Lamb/Chop Spices
