Directions

  • For the hash browns, grate the potatoes and place in a colander, rinse under running water until the water runs clear
  • Spoon into a clean tea cloth and squeeze any excess water out. Transfer to a large mixing bowl
  • Add the flour and season well. Mix to combine
  • Heat the oil and butter in a frying pan and fry a spoonful of the hash brown mixture until golden and crispy on both sides. Drain on paper towel
  • Top the patties with the cheese and hash brown and assemble the burger adding topping of your choice
