Directions

  • Add chicken, stock, water, salt and onion into your pot
  • Cook the chicken for 2 hours till soft and water reduces
  • Add potatoes and cook for an extra 20 minutes
  • Tip: It is always best to cook potatoes with the chicken and not separately to give your potatoes a richer taste

  • A full freshly slaughtered and portioned chicken
  • 1 l of chicken stock
  • 500 ml water
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 500 g potatoes (peeled and halved)
  • 1 onion chopped
