Directions
- Sauté the onion for a few seconds, then add the chuck and remaining ingredients and simmer for (+/-15 minutes), stirring occasionally.
- Add more beer only if it is necessary.
- Cut the loaf in half lengthways and butter well. Lay the lettuce then the chuck and finally with the baked potato chips, cut in half and serve.

- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 kg beef chuck
- 60 ml (¼ cup) milk stout beer
- 15 ml (1tbsp) sweet chilli chutney
- Salt, to taste
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) mild curry powder
- 250 g (1 punnet) button mushrooms, quartered

- 1 French loaf
- Lettuce, shredded
- 200 g potato chips, baked
