One pan wedges and wings

Serves: 4-6 Tip: Looking for an even spicier wing? Replace the BBQ sauce with sriracha or chipotle sauce!

Directions

  • Pre-heat the oven to 200°C and prepare a large baking sheet by lining it with baking paper.
  • In a large bowl combine the wings, oil, garlic powder, chili powder, pepper and salt and mix well to coat the wings.
  • Place the wings in a single later on the baking sheet, about 1 cm apart.
  • Parboil the potatoes for 5 minutes in salted water.
  • Cut the potatoes into wedges (1/8ths)
  • In a bowl combine the potatoes, vegetable oil, garlic powder, chili flakes, cayenne pepper and salt and mix well to coat.
  • Place the wedges on the baking sheet and place in the oven.
  • Bake for 15- 18 minutes.
  • Remove the tray from the oven and baste the wings liberally with BBQ sauce.
  • Return to the oven and bake for another 5 – 10 minutes.
  • Serve immediately.

  • <h3>Wings</h3>
  • 12 Chicken wings, divided into flats and drumettes
  • 2 tbsp Oil, vegetable
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • ½ tsp Pepper, black, fine
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ cup BBQ Sauce
  • <h3>Wedges</h3>
  • 4 Potatoes (Waxy/flour BP1, VDP, Sifra etc.)
  • 3 tbsp Oil, vegetable
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Chili flakes
  • ¼ tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • ½ tsp Salt, fine
